Im currently working my project of solar tracking system, but do not know which motor is suitable for my project. Can anyone guide me through this problem?

Both will do the job. Stepper might be a simpler solution because you don't need a sensor to control it accurately (only two limit switches). If you need to move a heavy load, then servo motor is better.

I assumed that with servo motor you meant a servo quality DC or a BLDC motor.. not an RC servo. If the load is light enough to be moved with an RC servo, then that is probably best solution.
