Hello,

Another project that I was thinking of was putting a series of 120mm case fanns via the molex connector and then having all the fans get power from the wall

**broken link removed**

Something like an adaptaplug and a wall adapter from Radioshack.

What do you guys think? What plugs should I wire back to the connector to get it to work?

Thanks!

huh?

get a 12v wall wart (switching is better than linear), and one of those molex drive power y-cables ... cut the male end of the y cable off (that attaches to the female end of the power supply cable) and instead solder on the leads from your wall wart. now you can just plug your case fans into each other and into the modified y-cable.

Or just use a junk AT/ATX power supply you have floating around, they're very easy to convert to stand alone usage. For the price you can't beat the regulated high current outputs on an AT/ATX power supply.

is this for your computer?
