I bought one of those serial programmers and have to fiddle with the settings to make it work. Just because it may work today doesn't mean it will work tomorrow.
As I read the BBS, low voltage at MCLR seams to be the reason for the X0000 verify problem.
Can I wire a 1.5 volt battery in series with the MCLR pin to resolve this problem???
Would like to try something before buying what I should have in the first place!!
