Greetings to the board ,
This is my first post and I'm NOT electronically gifted.

ALL my information has been gleaned from the web and I have had success with making / copying a simple interface that allowed me to "talk to " a Curtis mobility / motor controller.

I'm now attempting to do the same with a Penny and Giles mobility controller using a Kenwood KPG-4 Replacement USB RIB-Less Programming Cable ...which I believe uses a profilic usb uart chip... and perhaps a simple chip like the SN7407N - Hex Buffer/Driver or a SN74LS04N,Hex inverter...and thus communicate with and reprogramme a different controller .. in this instance a PGDT mobility controller.

I've tried various single wire comms circuits based on Google searches but no success.

So I've decided to ask the experts if they could please help guide me...IF possible.

The pics attached are of a Penny and Giles interface board ...which I do not have.

NOTE ..This will probably be a complete hand holding exercise should anyone wish to oblige me.

Many thanks in advance...

Alan ( Woody )
