yes, that's really sth need to start from basic to improve soldering smd skills. found some professors don't even know how to solder smd well at all!

thanks first.
read that thread, but looking for those really practical ones, pic speaks more than words.
few pins of smd won't be difficult but target on those like QFP, or many tiny pins ones. hot air gun can work in many cases esp in desoldering process, but mastering the soldering iron to solder smd is not easy. univ or colleges won't deliver these knowledge and skills, a big gap between knowledge and practical!
