Hi,
Does anyone have the data for the RCA scr, which is used in a 110 Volts 2.5 Amps, dc substation battery charger?
charger is about 20 years old.
type HC 8310 also the number S28000.
These are used as a pair to rectify AC to DC with the assistance of a pair of standard 5408 , 3 Amp rectifier diodes from the secondary of the chargers transformer.
I Goooogled for it with no luck.
Many thanks
Raymond

Many thanks Russlk will try that out and will tell you of the outcome.

I got it sorted out.
Put in BT 151 SCR's which are rated at 500 Volts 7.5 Amps.
Charger works perfectly and is currently under soaktest.
Many thanks Russlk
