satellite t.v. receiver

sir,
I am the diploma student in electronics & telecomm. 3rd year.
I wants to make project on digital satellite receiver.
So, please give me all info. about circuit, parts, availability.[/list][/b]

Generally the parts involved are all highly specialised and unavailable, and not suitable for construction without highly specialised equipment, even if you could source the parts. Assuming you could get them?, expect to pay between ten and fifty times the cost of a ready built receiver!.

I would say as a project it's not a very good choice, bear in mind it's of similar complexity to building your own PC from scratch, including etching your own multi-layer through-hole plated board, plus writing your own BIOS. In fact, I would say it's considerably MORE complicated than that, particularly the software side - a PC BIOS is fairly small and straight forward, the OS for a satellite receiver is more like writing the BIOS and an OS.
