Hi, i'm interested in learning about basic robotics and i'm wondering if there are any books that you could recommend that explain basic robotics in detail and maybe have a couple of simple projects within.

Robot Builder's Bonanza by Gordon McComb and Myke Predko is the best book you are looking for. It explain the basics from theory, materials untill programming.

I'd love to buy it, but the price tag at the local Border's says otherwise.
