RF problems..

the problem is that..i hv made a rf based robo....its working fine...bt after 2 days i again checked it nd its transmitter is working bt reciever not....how would i know that whats the problem....

i also thinks that ic ht12d which i used in reciever is not working bt i m not sure....how can i know this.....
plzz..help me regarding this....thanks in advance
 
If your electronics is as sloppy as your written words then no wonder it is a bit iffy.

The simplest check would be to beg, buy or borrow a similar Tx or Rx and try that with your setup.
