Hi

In Micro Controllers we use ADC, producing a digital representation of an analogue input. But how is it done in reverse, producing an analogue output from a digital signal?

hi,
One way that is used is PWM connected to a diode/resistance/capacitor 'demodulator' [ actually a C/R filter]

Or you can use a microcontoller with a DAC built in.

..or an external DAC chip.
