I need a voltage regulator that will output 5-10 amps and that can have the voltage easily changed by the circuit itself. This is for a solar panel charger. max input could be 25 or 50 volts (are SMPS more efficient when there is a larger difference between in and out voltage ?) output will be around 14 or 28 volts
