Hello everyone .

I need to replace a JFET on a bench DMM , and its a N channel Jfet .

So since this jfet is switched by eather a negative voltage ( -50V ) or lower , can i just replace it by a P channel Mosfet ?

no.......maybe........No........
Please post your circuit.

bench DMM....after you monkey with it the readings will not be the same.

Ok so , any other alternative ?
Replace it with another JFET.
Need to see the circuit before I can make any further suggestions.
