replace hand drill switch

I have a Sears Craftsman hand drill (315.10514, c. 1976) that is in good shape except for a broken switch (speed controller). I want to either locate a replacement switch or give away the whole bundle for salvage. Haven't found a switch anywhere. Any thoughts? Thanks. Bruce

Is it failed/broken mechanically or electrically?
May have to resort to repair rebuild of the existing?

Thanks for the quick reply. The switch housing is cracked, affecting the connection to the forward/reverse switch is attached. I'm going to crazy glue, and see what happens.
