The bandwidth of a remote doorbell circuit might not be wide enough to pass all the frequencies of DTMF. The doorbell circuit might not even have modulation.
FM is better than AM because FM rejects interference and noise.

can i use decoder and encoder IC (ht12e )with remote door bells available.
so that i can have no. of unique sets.(i.e every reciever will hav its unique transmitter.)

and wat are ASK reciever and tranmitter can i use ht12e with them
 
I don't know if an encoder will modulate a wireless doorbell.
I don't know if the receiver for a wireless doorbell has a detector to feed a decoder.
