Im interested to design utrasonic, IR and radio (short and long distance) circuits which will be interfaced to my microcontroller chip. So can anyone please advise or give me some links or ebooks.

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but for an IR Remote type circuit, I'd recommend Princeton Technology's PT2250A & PT2248 ICs. They make IR quick and easy. Refer to the attached PDF doc.
