Hi Guys

We are using a icemaker valve to water a plant growth chamber system, and since the valve uses 120V, we are thinking on using a relay to control the opening and closing of the valve. We are using a TTL signal to control the relay.
I have no idea where to start, can you guys give me some ideas of what type of relay or what type or circuitry would I need? Any comments are appreciated really.

Thanks!
:)

do a search

TTL / transistor switch circuits
or
TTL relay circuits
all it is is a transistor switching a relay (a triac opticoupler / triac would be better IMO)
not real complicated.
