I'm intending to interface an external memory , flash memory, with the micro-controller. Which micro-controller should i prefer ... AVR or 8051 series??
AVR are the faster ones but in my project i also need to perform some multiplication and addition instructions and i've heard that AVR has difficult/lengthy instruction sets for them.
Which should i prefer??
