Hi all,

If there a price of kit or circuit that can record a analog signal (0-5v) for a duration of 30 seconds and then play it back?

Steve

P.S. Ideally with settings to change resolution and rate.

Something like this perhaps?

Possibly

crutschow, well probably but I thought there might be something a little more sophisticated like a scope or analyser that let you record a signal then play it back, maybe I am thinking about this too much!

Steve

P.S. I wanted to capture more than one signal at once and play them back synchronized

Using a PC sound card, perhaps?

I don't know if you are looking to purchase something or design/build a data recorder yourself.

If you are looking to build one, look at this link, its a friend of mine. http://www.cappels.org/dproj/VR/AVR_Data_Logger_and_Voltage_Recorder.html

Also, I designed one that might suit your purposes as well at AVRFREAKS.NET (free login required) that uses AttoBASIC as the data collection engine. http://www.avrfreaks.net/index.php?...&func=viewItem&item_type=project&item_id=3617

In both cases, the schematic and source code are free. AttoBASIC is free as well and has pre-built HEX files to program into your own AVR.

You can contact me through the forum.

Peace,
Scott
