I have a bunch of transistors that come in two types. There are markings on the back of them that either read:

C1740 S.SP, where the P has a line above it.

or

A933 SRP, where the P is underlined.

Can someone help me understand what the markings mean and how to determine whether it is a PNP or NPN?

Thanks
