Rabbit RCM3700 anyone using these things?

I like the idea of using a RCM3700 for RS485 to Ethernet control. It's 5V and lots of I/O. It looks alot eaiser than building a PIC to ethernet solution.

i didn't know them, but i can highely recommend the Charon module. They are really plug and play

Lantronix are also goo but don't provide those extra I/o you want.

I'll order few of those you suggest, i'm suppose to have spare time in the next weeks.

I worked with those this and they are great.
they are easy to program and no extra electronics needed for communication with a PC. As far as I know microchip has a new controller out wich should be able to to work with a ethernet connection but they are very rearly.
