question about PIC pin

what does the PSP0-PSP7 for ?
what does RE pin for ?
i just want to know because i never see any project using those pin ?

PSP is the parallel slave port. It is used to interface directly to an 8 bit microprocessor. The RE pins are simply port E.

A Z80 could read/write to the pic and have it's data lines connected directly to RD0-7 without conflict. I'll edit my earlier post to be more accurate.
