Question about Gain+ Caps + LM386

Hello! I put togetter this little amp on my breadboard and I'd like to know what I could do with the capacitor that is right before the switch. I did put a 10uF but I was wondering how much high in Farads could I go ? When by-passing it, it says gain = 20 and with it it's 200... could I put a pot?

The cap size does not set the gain, it's the resistance because it bypasses an internal resistor. You could put in a pot to adjust the gain. It's covered on the data sheet page 3:
