I am trying to build a simple pulse oximeter, since researching it I am quite knowlegable on the theory of oximetry, and how an oximeter works, however, I am having trouble finding a suitable circuit diagram for this project. I have a time scale of 10 weeks.

Can anyone help??? Many Thanks

**broken link removed** a is technique for recording bioelectrical waves of the heart. This helps clinicians assess and diagnose the stability of a patient’s heart. This has a digital approach that tend to gives the infinite impulsive response,
Moreover these tools can be also used in other biomedical signal processing application such as MRI Magnetic Resonance Imaging and EEG Electroencephalography

hi joanne, I have a friend who completed his work on a thesis project specifically involving pulse oximeters. If you're interested with my friend's info I'll give you his contact info.

I was involved in a pulse oximeter project last winter. I didn't do much research for the project, just some general electronics help. I remember that TI has some good application notes (and products) on the subject.

Block Diagram (SBD) - Pulse Oximeter - TI.com

Look at the Application Notes section.
