I'm just about to embark on a new project to build an underwater pan tilt zoom camera using a dome style security camera (probably the panasonic wvcs574). As well as having one with the dome facing downwards as per its design I would like one which mounts horizontally and keeps the picture the right way up at all times. The unit currently has a 360 endless pan and a 180 tilt this would need to change to a 180 pan and 180 tilt at 90 degrees to each other. Has anyone ever attempted anything like this before or ideally does anyone know where I can find a horizontal mount dome style camera?
