For my project I will be using bluetooth modules and microcontrollers. The project details are given below.

A transceiver will be used to open doors automatically. When a person carrying the transceiver approaches the door, the access panel (a transceiver connected to the main server which is near the door) sends data to the transceiver carried by the person and vice versa. Once this connection is complete the access panel synchronises with the main server and checks the authenticity of the serial key and opens the door for the person if the serial key is legitimate.

My question is which bluetooth modules would be suitable for this and what microcontroller. Should I buy bluetooth modules that already have microcontroller built in or separate ones. I have been looking for a proper solution for days now. If I can get answers to these question it would be very helpful. Thank you
