Read the datasheets for the ICs you've listed. That will give you some idea of the function of each. A schematic of your circuit would help us to help you regarding the overall function of the circuit.

The lousy old LM324 quad opamp has a poor slew rate that limits its full output to about 2kHz which is not ultrasonic. Most other ordinary or audio opamps work well to 100kHz.
