for my project i am probably going to do a stepper motor controller, PIC controlled, when i get this working i ideally want to make it into a fuctioning example of something.

Any ideas on what would be a good little device to demonstrate a control system run by 1 or 2 stepper motors would be much appreciated.

thanks

There's a nice little device down at my local primary school, it's a small 'tank' type device driven by two stepper motors. On top it has a keypad and display, and you can program it to move specific amounts forwards or backwards, and to turn specific angles.

From what I can remember it's called 'Roamer'.

Something similar would make a nice demonstration of how to use two stepper motors - and make a nice toy to play with
