Programming ZigBee Board .....

Hi,

I am trying to use ZigBee on a project. I need help in the way how to program this Microchip kit. I am using C18 Microchip compiler.

I would be very grateful, if somebody could send me a webpage about this subject or some sample code to comunicate serially between pc and ZigBee (using C18 compiler).

I'm not familiar with this, but I know that there is a Zigbee forum on Microchip's website. You might try there.

Hi,

Well I am doing a car controled by zigbee using a software on the pc. You just tell the car what to do, the orders are sent to PICDEM Z by serial connection and then sent by air to another kit(that is located inside the car). The PICDEM Z kit that is in the car receives the orders and translate these orthers into actions to the car motors.

The documentation is not enough for me. I am having a bit trouble to start with this.

do you plan to do any other projects with it too?

If you do not want to communicate with existing Zigbee devices use MiWi instead. It will save some time and complexity.
