programming PICs lessons

I have the mikroelectronica book on pics (18F84A specifically) but need more simply put and better written stuff does anybody know of any ?
 
YES, just read the Sticky. If you would, you would have noticed the link to Nigel Goodwins tutorials. They are very useful (Assembly only).
 
I used "PIC Your Personal Introductory Course" second edition written by John Morton. It is a good starting point. And Nigel's tutorials are good value.
