programmer for sound IC

does anybody know how to program a sound IC?

the chip is ISD2560 from winbond.

Isn't that just a sound recorder chip?, so there's no programming involved, simply record the audio you want directly into it.

Wow, I didn't know those existed, but reading the datasheet, this seems like a clever piece of circuitry. Indeed, there's no programming involved. Just use a simple uC to drive it, although it even appears possible to use simple switches/pushbuttons. Everything's handled by the chip for you.
