Problem On Driving Lcd with atc89c51

hi,
i want to connect 8051 to lcd and i do it just as it siad in books the simulation is working properly but my circiut doesn't.
I'm in need of some refrence to help me finding the problem.

Did you connect everything correctly?

Did you buy a second batch of parts required for the project?

And was the 8051 microcontroller programmed before this circuit was made?

Is the circuit incorrect?
If there is NO resistor in the circuit what-so-ever, then the circuit may be incorrect. See if you can find the circuit elsewhere. If you can't then chances are that the circuit is the problem.
