I am using LG DVD read/write drive in my PC. After a year, My DVD driver works only for DVDs and gives no response to Cds.

Now, It is not working for CD & DVD. What may be the problem?

Is it need to replace read/write lense or driver?

Does this apply for all CD's or just for some old burned cd's?

Remember that burned cd's is not made to have a long life span.

It's just worn , dvd drives are dirtcheap these days, you can't expect quality for those prices.
Replace the entire drive.

Replace the entire drive.

But, I bought it with the PC and only used for few times. If I suppose to replace with new one, How can I choose quality product (DVD Driver) as almost every driver have same price level???
