Hi freinds,
I want to introduce Preventive Maintenace for various Electronic controlled Equipments . I am looking for suitable write up and reading material for that purpose.
Can anyone suggest relevent website/Books which deals with this topic....

Thanks.

The Preventive Maintenance would depend a lot on the Actual Equipment.

It would be very difficult and Unwise to just give a General guide.

Restricted access to hammers was implemented at one firm after the operator of a multi axis jig borer was caught making positioning adjustments in the micron range by gently tapping...

lol, Calibration by tapping, Thats funny. General Preventive Maintenance for Electronics:

1. Don't mess with it if it already works.
2. Keep Cool.
3. Keep Dry.
4. Keep Away from Static Charges.

I'm sure more apply but those are pretty general. :p

What if its something youre trying to modify?

2. Keep Cool.
Vacuum tubes have their own heating element inside of them.

3. Keep Dry.
Kind of dumb to keep a humidity sensory dry

4. Keep Away from Static Charges.
what if . . . . hmm, cant think of one for this one

Its kind of hard to generalize like chemelec said.
