I'm trying to figure out which bar(top / bottom) is what polarity on the board in the image.

You need to follow the connections to some components which have polarity makings, such as capacitors, or semiconductors with identifiable type numbers.

I'd say "T1B" can hold more electrons, and can -as such- be accounted as GND.

But whether it is AGND or DGND, or if it's referenced to EARTH, I cannot fathom from the picture alone.
