Poor Organization

Along with the numerous of stickies of questionable value that ETO has, I noticed this morning that not all of the "collaborative projects" seem to fit that moniker.

This current thread, https://www.electro-tech-online.com/threads/buried-sensor-for-people-detection.144993/ , prompted me to check the collaborative project on the same subject. Here it is: https://www.electro-tech-online.com/threads/human-detector-circuits.132367/

Unfortunately, that thread was neither a collaborative project nor did it go anywhere. It has been about a year since WTWH acquired ETO. Are there any plans to clean up and streamline the site?

The moderating staff has started looking at cleaning up some stickies. To my knowledge we have not looked into the collaborative projects much, but I will bring this up with the rest of the moderators.

Thank you, Matt for the response. In any discipline, there are the lumpers and the splitters. I tend to be a lumper. Unless there is a bright line distinction between categories, I would say, lump them. That seems to apply most obviously to the current two general electronics sub-forums, "Projects" and "Chat."
