PONY PROG ICSP BUG?

Just I would like to know about your views on ponyprog software and 16F877 series ,is the programmer worth making ,is it BUG free??

Interesting response to a request for a 'bug free' programmer?. The JDM is the most unreliable design out there - designed for minimum component count, and nothing else - very impressive piece of design though, a good example of thinking 'a little differently'.

The SI-Prog (PonyProg is just the software) programmer is a similar design to the JDM, using the handshake lines and not the actually serial port.

Try building a ProPic2 programmer and use IC-Prog with it...
I think you'll find it much more reliable
