A 1KW amp is very complicated and expensive. And pointless. Only stadiums and such can even use power on that scale.

We can talk about 20W amps if you like. You should be aware that a commerially produced amp will probably perform better and certainly be cheaper, you do this for experience and love. The design will not scale to 1KW but I'm pretty sure you have no use for a 1KW amp.

Well the question was so totally vague as to completely meaningless!.

But apart from that, the assertion that 1KW is only of use in stadiums is ridiculous!.

1KW is only TWICE as loud as 100W, and is only a low power PA system these days. My daughters band use an 0.8KW PA system, although the power is restriced to 400W because we only have 8 ohm speakers currently.

Many guitar or bass combo amplifiers are over 1KW these days, which is silly, because the power should come from the PA, not from the onstage amplifiers!.

He didn't say how many speakers he's driving nor how many channels.
Maybe the amp is for a 5.1 channel surround-sound system with only (!) 500W for the sub-woofer and 100W each for the other channels.

Maybe he needs only 1kW of "peak music power" which can be produced by a few LM386 1/4W amps.

Take seven 8ohm speakers, wire them in series and plug them into the 240v mains.

That will give a nice 1028 watts.

A nice bass hum, surround sound too!

They won't use anywhere near 1kW because they will resonate with a much higher impedance. Break all your windows too!

Except for the oddball single 7th speaker, you could mount the speakers face-to-face. They would fight each other producing a low impedance but probably no sound.
