audioguru Well-Known Member Most Helpful Member Dec 14, 2006 #8 A BJT doesn't have a source and doesn't have an "emiter". A field-effect transistor has a source, which is something like an emitter. Lookup Transistor in Google or in your textbook. Ask your teacher to teach it again.
