Hi,

I'm designing a home automation system for myself. I want it to be based on PIC and CANbus as it's what I know and I think will work well for this application. However, I need to make some "expanders" up that have around 8-16 12V inputs and 8-16 relays at a few amps 12V. I'm ideally looking for an all in one board, but it could be multiple boards that have 4 in 4 out. Has anyone seen anything like this for sale before? Ideally I don't want to do PCBs for this as I will need quite a few of these expanders around the place and don't want to make up loads myself. I've seen the PLC16 boards from MikroElektronica, and they're similar to what I want except without some of the fluff such as the programmer and ideally I want inbuilt CAN.

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks,
Ben
