I'm trying to design a single sided PCB in my software package (osmond). I have noticed that some of the standard parts use Plated holes.

As far as I understand, their is little point in using plated holes in a single sided PCB. Is this correct?

Which case I will de-select the 'plated' option on the hole design/

Thanks.

it would probably give you slightly lower resistance at the solder points, but unless you're doing something hyper-sensitive it should be negligible, so don't waste the money.
