im thinking off making the pir project on **broken link removed**
is it possible to change/remove the HT12E and instead of a piezoelectric speaker
put in an led?

Assuming you're wanting to do this wirelessly (as the article does) I would suggest you not only use the HT12E, but also it's matching decoder IC as well, this will also make it simple to use an LED. Check the datasheets for the Holtek HT12E.
 
im only a beginner so im not that good with ic's and the pins.
is it possible that someone could draw me a schematic or tell me how to wire the parts!
all is greatly appreciated!
