I have a Pioneer KP-500 Supertuner and only one channel has output to the speakers. I'd like to get it working again. I have the service manual but I was wondering if someone on here could identify what to check or replace first.
Thanks.
John

The amplifiers are IC1and IC2 (AN-214's), check the voltages round those - most comon fault on car radios is the IC blown.

However, it's a pretty old and low-spec unit, why not buy a decent modern one to replace it?.

Could be anything from IC4 on out to the speaker. IC4 decodes the FM and generates the low-level audio that gets amplified after. You would need to start at the power stage closest to the speaker out and inject an audio signal and verify it getting through and work back through each audio stage.
