R RMMM New Member May 9, 2011 #4 You HAVE TO READ THE SPEC. They are all reliable if kept within spec. If you are building a circuit that will see 200 degrees C, you will need a specialized product. So, once you know what you need, get a pic in that spec. PICs are not made for hobbyists, they are made for business and industry. They are just made in such a way, that we can use them easily.
