PICKIT2 UART tool with external program?

Hi

I was wondering if its possible to use the UART capabilities of the PICkit2 with, say, MATLAB? I would like to use the information processed on the pic (16F690) in an application in MATLAB.

Is it possible to supply a (virtual) Com port driver for the PICkit2. So it can function as a real USB - serial port device? That would fix my problem :).
