not a big fan of PICs (to be honnest), and no much experience either, however, for a certain task, I have to work on a PIC16F57, will the PICKIT3 support this device..? (would like to know before i build a test board..)
According to MPLAB IE v8.76, Pickit 3 will program it. You can always check what programmers/debuggers are supported for each chip by going to either the MPLAB IDE and clicking on configure --> Select device or going to the readmes folder under the MPLAB IDE folder.
