pic16f627a USB connection

Hi there

What would I need to connect my PIC16f627a to my PC's USB port. Also, if I use Delphi, how would I interface to the USB port. Is there a library I can download? My pic works fine with a serial port connection where I used a MAX232 IC but now I have to use USB, because my friends laptop doesn't have a serial port.

this looks nice but it's quite expensive, if I use a usb 2.0 to serial cable converter cable, would it respond if i send data to the serial port in delphi? my serial port is defined as COM1

Using a USB/serial connector gives you a virtual serial port, as long as you access the correct serial port it should fine.
