ok, i stii have one more question about your programmer.
can i use it to program a 12C508A and a 12V509A?

Yup sure does, use IC-Prog software.......place the 12Cxxx in the ic holder.........pin1 to pin 1........i.e use the first 4pins on the ic holder........for a 16F84 etc.......just plug straight in.

For a 24C xx eeprom, place in the holder so that pin 1 of the eeprom is socketed at pin pin5.......so pins 1-4 of the eeprom are inserted into pins 5-8 on the holder
