Hi,

Here is great little Pic Development Board, ideal for any beginner , young or old.

It works with any .hex files from MPlab etc. but will only work from a PC with a Parallel Port.

It programs most popular 16F and 18F chips and is complete with all cables , power pac and discs etc

Free for local collection Huddersfield - Leeds / Manchester area.

Might consider posting but only within the UK

Please PM if interested.

It's $285! That's pretty steep for such a kit IMO. Epically one using a really old parallel port programmer.
**broken link removed**

You could most if not much more with my Junebug kit (USB programmer / debugger) $49 plus a Unicorn (USB, keypad & LCD) $49 and Dragonfly (6 digit seven segment display) $49

Or if you don't need a seven segment display but want something with wheels the Mongoose robot lab (supports LCD for debug) including Junebug is $199

Except according to his post he's giving it away free, which is a lot cheap than $49 however you look at it :D
