Hello Everyone

I am in need to send/receive packets from and to PIC with computer application using Ethernet, but I have no idea about where to start.

I have the following limitations (due to cost or lack of experience)
1- I need to do it using my programmer circuit that supports up to 40 pins PIC.
2- I need it to be done in the simplest way possible.

I have heard about a type of PIC called pic18J family which supports ethernet, but it is QFP not DIP so I have no Idea how I can program such thing.

Thanks for your help

You'll be better off getting a realtek Ethernet card and use it with the PIC
