and its behavior with hot and humid climate?

That link doesn't work for me, but according to the datasheet:-

"Temperature limits:-
Operating (Topr) –40C to +85C –40F to +185F (Non-condensing at low temperatures)
Storage (Tstg) –40C to +100C –40F to +212F "

The 'non-condensing' spec suggests that high humidity could damage the IC.
